Peggy the Horse

This spring at school we have the opportunity to go horseback riding, aka hippothereapy. Monday was the third time I went and it is so much fun! I ride the same pony every time; her name is Peggy. We had mostly stayed in the arena with the horses the first 2 weeks, but Monday we went outside for most of the time... even did a little trail ride!
I really notice a difference in my posture and core trunk muscles already... I have to work them pretty hard to sit for as long as I can. When I am too tired to sit anymore, they turn me around and I lay down on Peggy... a very relaxing ride... kindda like being in a boat with the gentle rocking back and forth.
Mom comes every week and is one of the people who holds me when I am riding- 2 people hold me and one other lady guides Peggy around. It's a lot of work for them but totally worth it!
I don't want to even think about there only being 5 weeks left! :(

How awesome are you Isaac! You look so big riding Peggy. I want to sign Tyler up for hippotherapy this fall. It looks like it benefits our kiddos so much.
It is so good to hear from you again.
