Jarome is the Betta fish that my Aunt Mel, Uncle Dave, Alycia, Owen and Evan got me for my birthday. He is the most beautiful fish I have ever seen. He loves to swim around in his container and watch what we are up to. We feed him 2 times a day and change his water every week or so. He is generally a pretty mild mannered fish but he gets excited when we show him his reflection in the mirror... they say that is because he wants to fight himself... how funny is that!!!
We named him Jarome after Jarome Iginla, a good Canadian hockey player who plays in Calgary... can you tell it's playoffs now... everyone has hockey on the brain! And we think Jarome is a good name for a Betta Fish... it suits him.
I am happy that I have a pet fish.
