Yes, I am still here!

Hi to everyone who still pops by looking for updates... my Mom should be fired for her delinquent blogging... she says she is still on a quest for consistency in many areas of her life... even in blogging for me... I say "WHATEVER" to that!!!

Anyway... a lot is going on at our house these days, like the process of us moving out of it! Mom and Dad have been lugging me around looking at different houses for a few years now, and have finally found one that they like. I have liked every house we've seen, it has been a blast going into a strangers home and walking in all the rooms and opening and closing closet and cupboard doors... I laugh and laugh every time! They stopped asking my opinion because I have loved every house... or maybe it's just the process that I have enjoyed. Anyways, it matters not because that part is all done... they fell in love with a bungalow in the quiet little town of Elmira, about 10 minutes north of us on the highway. It has all the rooms all on one floor so they won't have to carry me up the stairs anymore for bedtime, and it is fairly open concept so it will be easy to get around in with my wheelchair. It has an attached garage so we won't have to go outside in the winter to get to the car, and it is big enough that we can have a ramp in there and park in there too.
The backyard is big and backs onto a creek, and behind the creek is a walking path and a farm... so no backdoor neighbours... yeah!!!

We put our house up for sale as soon as we bought the new one and it sold almost right away... it was definately a "God thing". We showed it over 6 days to 8 couples and one of those couples liked our house enough to put in a firm offer... WOW! The man in the second picture is Paul, the agent that helped us do all this buying and selling... we like him.

Now the fun begins! We are going on a trip for March Break, but when we return we are gonna get started packing all our stuff into boxes... we don't move till June 30th, but that day will be here before we know it!

So ya, we're going on a holiday for March Break... no, not somewhere warm and exotic, we're going to Thunder Bay, a place of ice and snow where my friend Johnny lives (Mom and Dad have friends there, too). It would take 16 to 18 hours to drive there and that is too long, so we are going to fly on a plane! Yeah! I haven't flown since I was a baby... hope it goes okay... I'll let you know how it goes when we return.

Well, it is good to be back! I'll blog again when I return from holidays.

Cheers!
Isaac

Your Mum told me that you're moving to another house. Even though you say you liked all the houses, you're going to be SO happy in this new one. I can just imagine you whizzing around in your wheelchair, showing off your room to your new friends and all your family.
Have a wonderful time in Thunder Bay!! You haven't been to see my new house yet. Hopefully we can get together once you're home from your holidays. I'm very jealous you get to go on a plane!

It is so good hearing from you. I am sure the whole house hunting and selling has been keeping you busy. So I guess you get off the hook from lack of updating.

We are going to be going through all that headache this summer when we put our house up for sale and start to go househunting. I think it is going to be more stressful this time since we are actually selling AND buying instead of just buying like we did with our first house. I hope we sell our house as quick as you did yours. Wish us luck!!
