I'm Baaaaaack!!!

Well that was a long enough break from the blog, now, wasn't it?!? Too long... I know, and mom & me apologize humbly. My mom especially apologizes since she is the typer and she hasn't been typing... shame, shame.
That said, we have a lot to catch you up on, and a lot of fun news to share!

April:
April finished out with a great birthday party at the Butterfly Conservatory with my family and friends. We all had a fun time and there were tons of butterflies fluttering by... I was even able to catch one with my bare hands... and people thought I wasn't paying attention!!!

June:
At the start of June I got a brand new cousin... his name is Samuel and I can't wait till he gets bigger so I can play with him... he is pretty cute though!
Also in June, I graduated from Pre-school... I even got a diploma and a yearbook! We had a picnic at Waterloo Park and they tried to make it a fun day, but it didn't hide the fact that I won't get to see those school friends anymore. It was a sad day for mom and me. I especially will miss Michelle, my school helper, who became a very special person in my heart. We will have visits sometimes, but I will still miss her!

July:
The highlight of July was sleeping in a tent for a weekend when we were at a family reunion in Mitchell. It was the first time we had done anything at all like that and we had fun, once I got comfortable with the situation. It was nice to see Grandma's family again, who are my family too!

August:
In August was another family reunion, this time in North Bay with my Papa Sayer's family. That brought another first: staying in a hotel! Fun, fun! I also got to swim in a lake and ride on a school bus... as a taste of things to come! It was great to see that part of my family too, and meet some folks I hadn't met before!
On August 18 I got my wheelchair. It is black, with sparkles that shine in the sunlight, and it is quite comfortable. I especially love when Dad zooms around the house with me in my chair... it's a smooth ride and goes fast when Dad pushes me!
On August 23 I got to have another first... I practiced riding the school bus in my wheelchair! It was pretty fun, and the picture at the top of this post was taken on that day. It was sad for Mom to see me ride off without her, I'm such a big boy and all that, but I can't stay little forever!!! She is slowly coming around to that fact... I'm just giving her some time, and then I hope she'll be okay with me growing up at some point. If anybody out there has any ideas how I can make it easier on my mom, feel free to write in!
The last fun thing in August was my 11 day visit with my Grandparents, first the Sayer ones, then the Weasey ones. I got tons of hugs and kisses and snuggles and love... it was a blast! I am loved at home good enough, but there's nothing like a grandparents love... it sure is something special!
I'm gonna start a different post for September... a start of a new phase for me so it deserves a new post.

It is good to be back.

Well hello there! I kept telling your mum that I check this blog every day (yep, since April) waiting for an update. I miss you so so much Isaac! Your mum and I need to arrange to get together so you can play with Shaun and meet Shaun's new little brother, Ian.

Tell your mum I'll call early next week to arrange a day. :)
